Aluminum and magnesium are naturally occurring minerals. Aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are antacids. Simethicone allows gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines to come together more easily, which allows for easier passage of gas. Aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and simethicone is a combination medicine used to treat heartburn, acid indigestion, upset stomach, and bloating caused by gas.
